Our beautiful residential pool and patio sail shades are offered in 17 different colors and most block more than 93% of the Sun’s harmful UV rays. Not only will our fabrics help protect those you love from an increased risk of skin cancer and premature aging but they also help cool down your outdoor area by as much as 20 degrees.
Best of all, our fabric requires little maintenance. It’s made of ultra-strong polyethylene thread with added UV protection, which is engineered to stand up to the elements. Our fabric is designed to mimic the natural shade of trees, allowing air to flow through and enhancing your outdoor experience.
Of all shade providers, we’re also proud to offer the only standard quick release system, which will allow you to unhook your fabric with no special tools.
NON-PRORATED WARRANTY: We are backed by the strongest warranty in the industry. All steel framework is warrantied for 20 years and all fabric covers for 15 years. This is a non-prorated warranty. For further information, please contact us for our Certificate of Warranty.
FABRIC: Our Shade Cloth is known for its strength, vibrant colors and durability. We use a high-density polyethylene fabric (HDPE) with ultraviolet (UV) additives. Our Shade Cloth is far different from canvas and other solid fabrics because it is breathable; it mimics natural shade trees by allowing air to flow through resulting in up to a 20 degree temperature drop underneath. It also has a far longer lifespan and is resistant to mold and mildew, making it very low maintenance over the life of the fabric.
ULTRAVIOLET (UV) PROTECTION: Our fabric is tested by an independent laboratory and a large selection of colors meet a minimum of 93% UV Block as recommended by sun safety organizations and advocates.
THREAD: Our advanced stitching thread is an expanded PTFE (a unique polymer, very different from polyester). The thread is non-aging, carries a lifetime guarantee and will not rot due to UV exposure or the environmental causes.
FIRE SAFETY: Our fabric passes the ASTM E-84 fire rating test as well as the NFPA 255 and NFPA-701, and is rated a Class 1 Material. Please contact us for a copy of an independent laboratory fire testing report.
